Qualification Required
Educational Qualification for upsc forest service notification 2024 Indian Forest Service Exam 2024:
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following subjects: Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or Zoology.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry, or Engineering from a recognized university.
- Have successfully passed their 10+2 secondary examinations.
- Be a citizen of India or meet the specified nationality criteria.
Age Limit
Minimum age: 21 years
Maximum age: 32 years as of August 1, 2024
Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe/ ex-servicemen / ECOs/SSCOs: 5 years
Other Backward Classes/ Defence Services personnel disabled in operations during hostilities with any foreign country or in a specified border area or disturbed area: 3 years
Persons with Benchmark Disabilities viz. (a) low vision; (b) Partially deaf; (c) locomotor disability (Sub-category: leprosy cured and acid attack victims only): 10 years

Rs. 100 for candidates belonging to the UR/OBC category
Candidates from the SC/ST/PwBD/Female categories are exempt from the application fee.
