Qualification Required loco pilot vacancy 2024
Matriculation in the trades of armature and coil, as well as SSLC and ITI from accredited NCVT/SCVT institutions Electronics, Winder, and Electrician Heat engine, instrument, mechanic, fitter, machinist, etc.
A recognized institution may accept a 3-year diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Automobile Engineering, or a combination of these disciplines, in place of an ITI qualification.
Candidates with Degrees in the Engineering disciplines mentioned above can also apply.
Age Limit
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 30 years
Age Relaxation for RRB ALP 2024:
SC/ST: 5 years
OBC (NCL): 3 years
Ex-servicemen with more than 6 months of service after attestation are eligible for an extension of service rendered in defense plus an additional 3 years.
Candidates who are female and not married again but who are widowed, divorced, or legally separated from their husbands: 35 years of age (UR), 38 years of age (OBC-NCL), 40 years of age (SC/ST)
Candidates who finish an Act Apprentice course under the Apprenticeship Act before reaching the age of 25 are eligible up to the age of 35 for UR category, 38 for OBC-NCL, and 40 for SC/ST category.
